- The fresh plant herbal extracts used in the face and hand creams have been grown using organic practices but not organically certified apart.from Rosemary and Citrus Seed Extracts which have been commercially produced and are used as preservatives.
- The property also has its own beehives who not only pollinate the plants but also producing organic honey which is used in the creams.
- Products have gone through extensive and thorough testing and have been happily tested by friends and family. The creams are all original formulations developed by me(deb).
- The amber glass jars ensure maximum protection of the creams from light and helps products retain their active ingredients. Exposure to light and air will rapidly deteriorate the ingredients which is why these face creams are in 30gram jars. To keep them in the best condition they can.
- To give any cream a shelf life, some form of preservative has to be used. Only if made fresh every few days can one have a totally natural product. The preservatives I have chosen are because they are plant derived.
- Citrus Seed Extract (also known as Grapefruit Seed Extract). is extracted from citrus seeds.This is also sold in health shops to add to drinking water to kill harmful bacteria. At over $300.00 per kg it is extremely expensive compared to some of the available synthetic preservatives which start from $42.00 The second is Rosemary leaf Extract which is extracted from the Rosemary plant and a powerful antioxident. These products go through a chemical extraction.
